Scene 67: Unrhyme

I tried to rhyme ‘yes’
with ‘us’
but the slant was too heavy
like finding rocks in chocolates
and burnt out outlets
it’s unreasonable
‘I’ just didn’t rhyme with
‘You’
like comparing apples to
blue
it’s forbidden
‘We’ couldn’t rhyme with
‘awe’
though it looked good
like following a move
with love
it was superficial
